this is important to find out cause of varicose vein, for that an ultrasound doppler study or say duplex scan to be done, the incompetency will be find out and treated either by sclerotherapy or by laser or by open surgery, by the time use compression bandage in 3 layers and leg elevation as long as you can, you can take cap daflon 500 bd.

Surgery is only indicated when symptoms are troublesome like severe pain, leg ulcers, skin blackening etc. Few people want surgery for cosmetic reasons.
