23 years is not too old, your teeth can be aligned with braces. After aligning the teeth if any remnant gaps are present it has to be closed either with caps or cements depending on the amount of remaining space. The cost for your treatment will be low in teaching institutions but you will have appointments only on working days, since this is a long term process you have have to sacrifice several days of your job or college, but in private clinics the cost will be more than in teaching institutions but you will have the option of weekend and evening appointments or according to your convenience. All the best and wish you happy treatment and perfect smile.

Hi , there are several types of treatment options available for malaligned teeth. They range from conventional orthodontic treatment, with metal/ceramic braces, full arch aligner systems such as invisalign and clearpath, sectional arch aligner systems such as inman aligners, lingual orthodontics. Orthodontic treatment combined with jaw correction surgery maybe used for severe cases of jaw bone level discrepancies. Minor issues might occasionally be corrected with cosmetic dentistry procedures such as direct or indirect veneers. Each of these varies in its indications, costs, complexity, and duration and number of visits. You need to visit your dentist, or an orthodontist, and discuss the options available to you, based upon your specific situation, the pros and cons of each option, and then select the option that is best suited to your needs.
