I suggest that you combine Counselling along with medications. Medications help in reducing the biological component of an illness and Counselling helps us develop awareness and insight about our irrational thoughts. When you will take regular counselling sessions, you will be able to manage them much better as talking about your thoughts helps you relax and you will realize that the situation is not as worst as it looks like. All of us go through these thoughts from time to time. In some cases, the intensity of those thoughts become much more than usual. This is what regular medications and counselling will help in managing. Take care.
