My mummy is diabetic and her leg is a little swollen now with a little opening, fluid is coming out from it and she is having a blurred vision. What do I do?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Since there is no mention about actual blood glucose levels like fasting, after food & HbA1c% and current treatment with dosage, it is difficult to comment. However, follwing are few suggestions: 1) Get her blood glucose under strict control with fasting < 100 mg, after food between 160 to 180 mg, HbA1c% <7. Her BP should be properly controlled (120 to 130 /70 to 80 mm Hg. If there is any injury to the leg or foot it should be properly treated by the local doctor or a nurse. Thanks.
