I am 31 year old male. Working as software engineer. I used to work for 12-15 in front of system for first 5 years. Last year I could not able to spend 8-10 in the laptop. I was getting watery eyes and went to bed. After consulted eye specialist, got to know that my eyes power went to -0.5. Now I am wearing spec. Now also I am able to work for 8 hours only. My eyes are getting tired and not able to spend time in laptop. My daily routine: Wakes up 9 am. Get ready and reach office by 10: 30. Lunch 1-2 pm. Return from office 8-9 pm. Dinner at 11 pm. Go to bed at 12 am. Weekends feeling tired and sleepy, sleep for 4-5 hrs daytime. I want to make use of my time effectively to work more. I spend 30 mins to 1 hour in my mobile for mail, whatsapp, news reading. How do I get rid of this sleepy tired habit?

PLEASE do some regular exercises and your daily routine is very much sedentary. If a person is working on laptop for long hours the blinking of eyes reduces and that leads to dryness of eyes which makes the eyes watery, itchy, and inflammed due to which a person feels drowsy and tired. So do regular exercises for your eyes and increase your blinking willingly. But you must leave your sedentary lifestyle.

Most of software professionals don't know how to work on computer for long time without giving trouble to eyes.
