I am female aged 56 tears. I do not have any family history of diabetes nor was I diabetic till last year. I had TSH 16 which came to 4.85 now after homeo treatment. But sugar showed in PP as 313 two months back, 256 last month and 211 yesterday. Can this be because of thyroid treatment. Can you suggest any short duration medication. 5 years back had uterus removed. Last year fasting sugar 120 and PP 150. Awaiting hohr guidance.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. For diabetes and hypothyroidism only treatment is taking specific modern medicines. There is no alternative. There is no treatment in so called other practices. So if you want your diabetes to be effectively controlled then please start taking specific antidiabetic drugs plus diet control and exercise. There is nothing like short term treatment. It has to be for lifetime. This true for both hypothyoridism and diabetes. Thanks.
