I have consulted Lybrate doctor and took surgeon foo 4 days for giddiness, Problem is still there (10%) but only while getting up from bed. Doctor asked me to go for further checkup if giddiness persists. I am Diabetic and had spondylosis problem 4 years ago. Pl. Advise.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Giddiness can occur due to multiple reasons. Using Stgeron does help in controlling it. But you may have to take the drug for a longer period. Sometimes problems with inner ear (vestibular portion) can cause such symptoms. So please consult an ENT surgeon and follow his guidelines. That may help. Plus it is necessary to keep blood glucose as well as BP is good control. Thanks.
