My father age 52 suffering kidney stone of size 5.7 mm since last one month, the treatment is going to happen from day one i.e last one month, after one month treatment there is no change in size of kidney stone, the doctor now suggesting to do operation to remove stone, so please suggest me what to do, go for operation or not?

Hello. I don't think 5.7 mm stone is an indication for surgery. Unless it has caused complications. You must do a KUB / IVP first. Take plenty of fluids and take cystone tabs two tabs twice a day for one month. Review after a month. Feel free to contact me in my Pvt thread for further help. U cN share your reports with me.
