I had done a root canal treatment a week back and from then I have pain while chewing so doctor gave me flagyl for 2 days, but from yesterday I have fever like symptoms with full fatigue. Throat pain started after the root canal itself. Crown would be put after gum swollen goes, do I have chronic fatigue syndrome or what can be the reason.

Fever might be due to various other causes which might be unrelated to the rct and fatigue as well kindly consult your doctor again and if he insists a general physician as well.

If there is pain on biting. After root canal treatment .it usually takes 10 days to subside .u can take tab Enzo flam two times a day for three days .and if pain doesn't subside kindly get your root canal checked again.

throat pain can be due to infection of the throat which is indicated by fever, also associated with fatigue...take lot of fluids also take some rest you will be fine... the status of rct can be determined after looking at the x ray
