Doctor prescribed me Folmet 500 mcg (Nouveau Medicament). Since I live in rural area, It is not available here (I have searched the whole world near by). Folvite 500mg is available here and I was taking it regularly for 3 months before conceiving. Can I take folvite 500 mg inspire of Folmet 500 mcg. Please help.

Yes it is only the brand name that differs. It is essentially the same medicine. If you are pregnent, you should start taking cow ghee 1 tsf before taking food. That will help you a great deal & your folic acid will be ok.

Hi, as both contains folic acid as a main composition, you can take either of them. But, do check the rest of the components as well as the strength (one is in milligrams and other is in micrograms)!
