My mother was operated for her Papillary cancer. Took Radio Iodine therapy. But, did not worked. Would you please suggest for further treatment. Also could you please let me know is there any reasons that Thyroid tissue did not taken Radioiodine (I -131)

In some cases only stage 3 and 4 cancers can be delayed with chemo - radiation. It is to be remember always that first best and safe treatment for advanced cancers is pain relief treatment with MIPI.
