Dear Doctor, I am a CA student. In the examination days I feel some kind of heavy tension. I checked with a doctor. He told me that my blood pressure is not normal. If I am so tensed my eyes and face become reddish. I need to confirm whether it is due hypertension or any other issues? With which specialist I must consult? Thanks in advance.

Dear lybrate-user Looking at the limited symptoms mentioned by you, it could potentially be panic attacks or anxiety disorder as well so you should review with a psychiatrist or psychologist and confirm diagnosis based on which further detailed intervention can be planned. Panic attacks are anxiety disorders amd because you mentioned Tension in some format, it might activate our sympathetic nervous system which increases our BP, heart rate, respiratory rate, dilation of pupils, problems related to digestion etc. Hence, we would have to evaluate and decide the intervention.
