Is there any side effects of jaggery? If I took more than 100gm a day. My BMI is ideal and have no diabetes or dis-order. Please advise

Do not take any thing in excess. Ensure that you keep changing the types of food according to the season and availability. The food should contain all the basic nutrients in sufficient quality ( a balanced diet ). Give priority to daily exercise also.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Jaggery is supposed to be better than taking sugar as it offers some antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. 100 g a day should be good enough. Since you do not have diabetes there is no reason to worry. Thanks.
