Dear Doctor, I am 28 years old female and I have got thyroid problem and my results are: TSH: 0.005 mIU/L Free T4: 54.9 pmol/L Free T3: 46.1 pm I am suffering from thyroid problem from past 2 and half years. I was on 5 mg Carbimazole from last few years (3 times a day or sometimes 1 times a day depends on the test results). When I did thyroid tests three months earlier, my thyroid was normal and the doctor suggested me to stop my medicine. My last week's results are above mentioned, now doctor prescribed me the same medicine. I am bit worried. I have always fast heart rate and feeling always tired. What should I do next? More tests or stay on the same medication? Thank you in advance.

You have to take carbimazole to control high t4 levels. You should go for radioactive iodine treatment to cure hyperthyroidism.
