I have bleeding gums. I need to know the best toothpaste to protect my teeth and get ride with pyorrhea.

I will mention the steps for maintainance- 1.Visit a Dentist, get a Deep Scaling (cleaning of teeth and gums) done every twice a year. 2.Have vit C products. 3.Use a mouthwash regularly twice daily. 4.Use Stolin GA (Gum astringent) twice daily on gums, keep the solution for 5 minutes then rinse off. 5.Have a gel like Metrohex 0.1% gel and regularly twice daily massage all your gums from inside and outside. 6.Use a toothpastes like Emoform R twice daily. 7.Do check up every alternate 3 months a year. All these steps will result in maintaining your gums and teeth and avoiding Pyorrhea.

Hello Lybrate user, toothpaste has secondary role in keeping our teeth clean, they only act as foaming agent. Our tooth brush has primary role in keeping our teeth clean so, use any toothpaste available in market, but brush properly at least for 4 minutes. You can easily find the proper way of brushing our teeth on google. Also you need to undergo scaling and polishing which is cleaning of teeth surface with an ultrasonic instrument and can be done by dentist only. Use any antibacterial mouthwash.
