I am a diabetic for more than 20 years. For the last few years, my feet have become very sensitive and am not able to walk without slippers even at home. Applying "Progaba" ointment gives temporary relief. What do you suggest please?

If you had uncontrolled diabetes since last many years it is possible that you have developed diabetic neuropathy which can be confirmed by doing EMG/NC studies. You can reevaluate you anti diabetic treatment if your Hba1c is always more than 7.0% Kindly do lipid profile/cbc/ESR /S.B12/TSH /S.ca to rule out other associated problems or nutritional deficiencies.
