Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Information given is very scanty. I need to know following details: Fasting, PP blood glucose levels, HbA1c%, creatinine, urea, microalmuminuria, lipid levels, BP readings, age, height, weight, drugs being taken with dosage, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. Because it is clear that with high creatinine and urea, there is a problem with his kidney functions. We have to look at his estimated GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate). So please come back with all the details preferably in a private conversation so that I will be able to prescribe medication if needed. Or else please get in touch with your local physician and diabetologist for better treatment. It is clear that he has a compromised kidney functioning. Thanks.
