I have grade 2 tear in posterior horn of medial meniscus of my left knee. Its now over 4 months in a football game. I can walk normally but after running for few meters I get knee pain also after walking distance of over 2 km I get pain. Is any surgery needed or rest is enough.

Hello lybrate-user, if you are sport person and if your symptomatic and urbMRI shows grade 2 tear posterior horn medial meniscus then you need to undergo Arthroscopy surgery, if possible please share MRI and consult.
