Mrr lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. When hypothyroidism is properly treated with adequate dose of levothyroxine, TSh is mainatined around 3 to 4 mU/L. If TSH is around 6 mU/L or more most of the symptoms will reappear. So it is essential to increase the dosage of thyroxine being taken. Then check TSH after 6 to 8 weeks to see if desired level is reached. If you have any doubts please do come back. Thanks.
