My wife had C section delivery in the month of November. Post how many months we can have intercourse with safety?

Usually healing of wound is complete by 6 weeks. But pregnancy is to be avoided for 16- 18 months, thats the main fear. Intercourse can be planned after 6-8 weeks one the uterus returns to prepregnancy state .but the patient should recover pscychologically as well.
