Sir my father got diabetes 4 years back. It was 500up. But now after 4 years of being at normal level without taking any medicine it is 200. So father started taking medicine again and after one week it get down to 120. So sir my question is that is there any need of taking medicine now. Cause the level of sugar stays normal if morning walk and good diet is maintained on a daily basis.

Hello, thanks for the query. The blood glucose levels are normal or are lower because of medicine. So if he stops the drugs, level will again increase. So it is necessary to continue the medication. Plus diet restrictions and exercise have to be continued. Thanks.
