Hello Dr. I am 28 years old. I am 26 weeks pregnant, it is my second pregnancy and my TSH level is 9.03 so my Dr. start thyroxine 50 so it is harmful for me and my unborn baby.

No, it's actually helpful for both you and the baby. Mother's thyroid hormone is necessary for normal brain development of the baby. Deficiency of this hormone can lead to mental impairment and movement problems in the baby (a condition known as Cretinism). But, with thyroid hormone supplement (thyroxine), the baby's development should progress normally. You should get your free T3, T4 and TSH levels rechecked one month after starting thyroxine.
