It was nice of you to have done the thyroid function testing. Your mother has hypothyroidism and will require medications to bring it back to normal. The physician would like to examine her and see whether she has any other illness that is associated with the disease. With proper medication, she should be back to her normal self. It is nice to know she is non-diabetic and non-hypertensive.
