My father had met an accident 40 days back, has been on bed, developed bed sores on starting point of spine. Looking red and white. A little area is secreted g white thing. Dr. at ALIGARH Medical just asked to apply betadine. Please help and guide for fastest healing.

Share x-rays. And clinical photographs. Apply hydroheal AM ointment. Clean with hydrogen peroxide and betadine first. Subsequently clean with normal saline. Avoid pressure off the bedsore, to allow healing of pressure sore.

If your father has bed sore then consult to the physiotherapist for this. Also use talcum to avoid sweating n friction.

Wound depth and size need to be assessed. A deep wound and a large wound will need skin cover with a flap. It heels fast then.
