Hi. My son is 15 years old and we live in Bangalore. I noticed that my son is breathing with mouth during his night sleep. Could someone give reasons and measures to be taken? What kind of Dr. We have to visit to address this problem.

The underlying cause of most cases of mouth breathing is an obstructed (completely blocked or partially blocked) nasal airway. In other words, there is something preventing the smooth passage of air into the nose. Nasal congestion caused by allergies, a cold, or a sinus infection. Enlarged adenoids. So the cause needs to be diagnosed. So consult us for examination and treatment to get started then.
