Hi, I had used lactacyd feminine wash just twice a month ago. It seems to have caused a severe allergy. The skin in the affected area has become dark and itches a lot. Numerous small bumps have come up and theres swelling as well. Unfortunately, I was using vaseline to reduce the problem. But I just found out that vaseline shall not be used as it intensifies burns. And my problem is almost like a skin burn. Please provide me with a helpful remedy urgently. * I have recently moved to a village n I have a little feeling tht there r chances that the water here is not suiting me and thats the culprit behind the allergy.

Dear lybrate-user, I think you may well be right in saying that the feminie wash you used might be responsible for problem. My advise to you is to see a gynaecologist who can confirm the diagnosis by examining and prescribe correct treatment and the gynaecologist will also advise you what to use in future.
