My TSH value is 8.86. I am taking thyronorm 25 mg tablet regularly. Is it dangerous? Which medicine should I have to take now?

Hi Lybrate User I would advise you to take thyronorm 50 mcg. Repeat TSH test after 1 month.

Thyronorm tab is not dangerous if taken in prescribed dose. TSH 8.86 is high and thyronorm dose needs to be increased with advice of your doctor.
