Dear Lybrate user. Polycystic kidney disease has an association with aneurysm or abnormal swelling of blood vessels in the brain which might lead to bleeding and a stroke. I suppose that has been evaluated. Otherwise for treatment of polycystic kidney disease aggressive control of BP is required. There are some drugs which are available which might slow the progression of kidney disease. Also your husband's age is quite less so would be very important that he is seen by a nephrologist and evaluated and the whole family history is checked.
