I am 41 years male diabetic since 7 years. My recent fasting is 122 and hba1c is 6.3 (Jan, Feb,Mar'18), before that my hba1c was 6.1. I was not taking sugar medicine for 6 months and I control through regular exercise and strict diet. My cholesterol level 226 mg/dl. My LDL 158 mg/dl and triglycerides 288 mg/dl. I visited doctor and he prescribed Glycomet 500 mg, Roseday f20, lipaglyn 4 mg. Is it necessary for me to continue sugar medicine inspite of the control? Is it possible to stop the metformin tablet?
