I was suffering from acute panic disorder with regular panic attacks. i was diagnosed with a problem acrophobia, also. I have been taking paroxetine 25 + zapiz 0.50 mg since 2004. Whenever ,I try to stop the medicine, anxiety disorder again surfaces. Doctor has advised me to continue with the same medication. I am not having any side effects till now except for early morning fatigue which lasts for about 1 to 4 hours. Kindly advise, should I continue with the same medication & can the prolonged use the same be harmful.

You can try to reduce the dose of zapiz gradually. Paroxetine is absolutely safe. Also try psychotherapy like CBT to control the anxiety. It works very well along with medications.
