Hi there, i'm diabetic from last 6 years, my average blood sugar is between 140- 160 fasting, I was taking gemer0. 5 then. But from the past 6 months my average blood sugar is between 160-180 F, now i'm taking Gemer 1 but it still at the same level. I have an active life style. I walk 4-5 Km daily but the levels are not improving. Kindly guide me.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. It is clear that your blood glucose control is not proper at all. Ideally fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. It is clear that current treatment is not adequate. There is a need for upgrading the same. Plus one has to give a closer look at your diet and extent of exercise. There is no mention about what drugs you are on and the dosage. So please come back with all the above details then I will be able to guide. Thanks.
