First of all lybrate-user its not at all stupid, we all get into different kind of problems and mess. So tell me more about your relationship with this Man. I understand what you must be going through but trust me its because of expectations and unnecessary attachment. You need to understand why and how together to overcome this problem. You can seek help of a psychotherapist. Consult me or any psychologist for same. All the best.

I can imagine how traumatic it is when someone close to you starts avoiding you. In different phases of life we need different kind of support. In your case, you tried to find comfort, care and trust in that person but in return you apparently did not received the same kind of affection and care. If he is not committed to you, and if he goes away from life, it is good for you in long term. Once or twice physical intimacy can not guarantee stability of the relationship. For depressive symptoms- get back to your normal routine. To relax yourself and stopping your worrying thoughts, do Yog Nidra, Pranayama & meditation. Go for a regular walk just to have exposure of first ray of sun, spend more time with your child, take sprouts, salads, fruits, walnut and curd along with your daily diet, watch good movies, listen to your favourite music, nurture your hobbies, take a vacation and visit beautiful destinations. After some time you will find much better. If still not improving, you may take professional help of a therapist/psychiatrist. All the best for your speedy recovery.
