My son aged 5 was affected by cold for the past ten days and he is under medication for it (Amoxy+Clav 375 + with cough preparation) for the past three days. Since he experienced continuous pain in his ears I fetch him to an ENT Specialist. After diagnosis he told that "My son's tonsils was in swollen State and he needs surgery" But when I met my Pediatrician for second opinion he ruled out the surgery option. He told the swollen due to inflation so no need for surgery. And he didn't give any medicine to cure the swollen tonsils. Please suggest me another options or I need to visit any other speciality?
