I've been on anxiety, Depression and migraine medicines (psychiatry) for 8 months which works amazingly well. But symptoms comes back when I stop taking meds. I came to know about the natural supplements like omega3 fatty acids, fish oil, gaba etc that works with very less side affects. I want to switch to these supplements but not by my own. What specialist doctor should I consult to begin these supplements?

Hi lybrate-user There are no supplements for treating anxiety and depression. You can take along side medication. Symptoms will reoccur if you don't complete course of medication which is 1 to 2 years as evaluated by doctor depending on your intensity of disorder. Don't discontinue om your own You will be back to square one.
