Doctor, Recently I got diagnosed with hypertension 150/90, my age is 22, I consulted a doctor, followed a prescription of calcium channel blockers and ACE inhibitors. Followed for 2 months, still my BP isn't normal, I've reduced my salt intake, increased fruits and veggies. Now I stopped taking medicine a week ago, from past 2 days, my heart beat is increased. What should I do.

At your age hypertension is not normal and requires detailed evaluation of why it is high and when medicines are started they also need to be titrated based on the response of each individual body. So I hope that you had remained in follow up of your treating cardiologist. If not then please consult your treating cardiologist again.
