Borderline High BP at your age may be lifestyle related. You are right to control salt intake, avoid fast food and tobacco and do regular exercise. You should measure your BP twice a week over the next 4 week to see if medicine will be required. Get basic tests like ECG, Urine, blood sugar fasting and lipid done and see a doctor with all reports Initial feeling of weakness should pass away as your lifestyle changes take effect. All the best.

Dear Lybrateuser, - It is good to know that you have controlled your bp with diet & exercise, you have to continue with the same regimen & also keep monitoring your bp at least once a week - the weakness & heaviness in head could be due to the rigourous exercise, so before exercise have a snack like a fruit or yogurt or nuts, have it half to one hour before your exercise & also have one after it - drink plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water or more depending on the sweating due to exercise & the environment temperature - also include a protein rich food like eggs, non veg, milk & milk products, legumes, nuts in each of your meals & also as a snack in between meals, it will supply you with energy throughout the day & keep you agile - avoid salty foods & snacks.
