I had undergone basckom's flap surgery for pilonidal sinus before 3 months. Still I noticed some dry fluid like material today. Is it Normal to notice such thing even after 3 months of surgery.

Secretion of fluid after 3 months of basckom's flap surgery is not normal. It is an indication of recurrence of Pilonidal Sinus. This is common complication after surgery where Pilonidal Sinus does not heals completely and secretion continues. So surgery is not a good choice for Pilonidal Sinus treatment. Whereas Ayurveda recommends Ksharsutra treatment for Pilonidal Sinus which is a permanent solution for Pilonidal Sinus. In this treatment Ksharsutra - a medicated thread is ligated in Sinus tract. Medicine released from Ksharsutra debrides the Sinus tract and induces healing. Medicine present in Ksharsutra works for 5-7 days so it needs to be changed with a new thread.
