My husband age is 29 and last week we checked in clinic and his BP was 140/90 so went to cardiologist and he gave tazloc tablet for 3 weeks. Is it ok to continue these tablets anything serious, what measures should I take to prevent this BP in further please suggest.

hello lybrate user follow lifestyle modifications like salt restricted diet, physical activity for about 45min daily. avoid smoking and alcohol. take care.

Hello lybrate-user. First of all I don't think that at this age he should have started antihypertensive. Reason being the systolic BP can even go high just because of anxiety. And 140/90 is not that abnormal. And also there other means of treatment like homeopathy which are curative. Means no need to take the treatment lifelong. Better consult and take proper treatment.
