I am 48 year old female. For last 3 years my TMT is coming positive. The annual medical tests this year revealed my LDL high. Earlier also I had taken Rosuvas for high cholesterol but stopped when it got controlled. I am also suffering from high BP and take Azilday 80 n Natrilix daily. But I don't have any chest pain or discomfort. I am a regular walker n try to walk 5 kms at least 4 to 5 times in a week, within 50-60 minutes. please advice. Do I need to see a cardiologist. My 2D echo and ECG r normal.

You are taking good care of health, so stay confident. TMT test is often positive even without any blockage in women, in hypertension, and when natrilix medicine is used. In your case all 3 reasons contributing to misleading and probably false positive report. So avoid tmt tests. Also, I suggest you avoid cholesterol checks and cholesterol medicines. They are useful in patients sick with blockage, not much use if no blockage illness.
