Respected sir, If someone is suffering from severe OCD and his IQ test score is 57 at that time and after treatment he get cured and normal like us. Can his IQ be between 85-115 range. Is it possible that his IQ lies in normal range.

Dear lybrate-user, Please talk to the psychologist who did the IQ test. She/he will know what tests are done, what was the behaviour during the test, was there scatter among the subtests, etc. If OCD has interfered with timed tests of IQ, his IQ will improve. Otherwise, IQ is fixed for life of the person.
