I am a 76 year old male. A routine blood test shows my serum creatinine level at 1.4 mg/dl. It was 1.3 fourteen months ago and 1.15 two years ago. Should I now consider medication for the condition or can I control it with home remedies such as better hydration, reduction of salt in diet, etc. Have no diabetes, hypertension etc.

Sometimes blood reports because of various condition like stress, exercise, dehydration and lab to lab variations Don't worry just hydrate yourself properly, avoid sugary, high salty food like pickles, sauce and papad. Monitor creatinine.
