Hey doc. My cardiologist has told me that there is no food restrictions post my angioplasty and when the angiogram was done there were 2 blocks and 1 was started and the other he said that it will dilute in medication. When checked with him on food habits I am getting mixed answers. Sometimes I hve this breaking of breath and pain in my arms. I have started to walk 2.5 km a day now. Its been 1mth since the angioplasty was done. It concerns me. Please advise.

Better not to have unnecessary stents, medicine and proper diet can control lesser blockages. So one stent is ok. Diet is confusing topic. Restrict sugar, jaggery, and starchy foods. Don't follow usual modern restrictions as they are counterproductive. For more information please discuss on phone.
