My mother is 42 year old lady. She has undergone bilateral Total Hip replacement .Left One in 2008 and right one in 2013. From last 2 months she is suffering from too much pain in right hip. xray says there is some problem in hip but doctors suggested to have three phase isotope bone scan in which hip is declared 100% ok. Can you suggest why there is unbearable pain? Is it because of some nerves or what? Whom to consult for this?

Hi Lybrate user pain in right hip may be due to nerve compression, muscular pain due to vitiation of vatta or may be condition of osteoporosis. Take syp Dashmoolarishtam 20 ml two times a day after taking meal. Take Tablet Asthi poshak two tablets two times a day with milk empty stomach. Avoid oily spicy fried salty heavy acidic food stuffs. Take light easily digestable nutritional protinious fiber rich diet. Tc thanks Regards.
