lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Yes with a BMI of 33.33 kgs/M2 you are already closer to grade 2 obesity. This needs to be checked. In your query there is no mention of present TSH value. Please understand, it is necessary to maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L, to be in control of all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Plus if your efforts to reduce weight have to be fruitful then too this level is vital. Secondly it is very important to control the food intake. Your total food intake has to be based on ideal body weight (50 kgs) not on present (75 kgs). So please take care and restrict the amount of food intake. Avoid junk foods, colas, maida based foods, bakery items, pastries, cakes and juices. No sweets or sugary drinks. If you do this and cut your weight down you will feel much better. As for workouts, it may be tough to find time but even if you are able to get 20 to 30 minutes in a day that should help. Even 5 to 10 minuets of skipping twice a day, should help. I am sure an intelligent girl like you should be able to find time for that. All the best. If you have any doubts please do come back Thanks.
