My wife is 60 years of age and suffering from high BP. She is taking telmiride h 40_mg medicine daily but after some times she is complaints for coughing. Previously she was taking repace h and same coughing complaint was there. We think coughing is side effect of medicine. Kindly advise suitable medicine.

The cough is less common with ace blockers than with ace inhibitors. Review your diagnosis of drug induced cough. Better give a trial by stoping Telmiride-h and switching to other group of anti hyertensive drug like anlodepine selective beta blockers.
