I am 59 years male I keep checking my sugar levels and my fasting sugar used be 70 to 80 and urine sugar nil since many years. Now when I checked this time it showed 126 fasting and urine nil. I am diabetic. There is no family history of Diabetics. Pl give me your advise.

Thanks for the query. Please get both fasting & PP glucose levels done as well as HbA1c%, that will give a clear idea. It is not necessary that for developing diabetes parents should have diabetes. One of the major reasons is obesity or being overweight (as in your case) with a BMI of 30.71 kgs/M2 (normal < 23 kgs/M2), you are having at least 20 kgs extra weight.
