I had recently take thyroid test and in my report T3, T4 results are normal but TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) result is higher then the range it comes 9.64. Can this be the reason of my weight loss and what are other problems happens due to this?

Well this can be a cause,,it is hypothyroidism which may cause hair fall,, palpitations,,loss of libido,, lethargy,, trembling of hand etc

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In hypothyroidism (with high TSH) there is weight gain. Plus other symptoms include early fatigue, tiredness, dry skin, dry hair and hair fall, swelling of face and lower limbs, muscle and joint pains, anxiety and even depression. Weight loss is rarely seen. Looking at your height and weight, it appears to be perfect. Thanks.
