I have thyroid since 2015 and I am taking thyroid supplement 50 mcg regularly since 2015 Suddenly since February 2018 my TSH has shown increase fro. 2.37 reading to 5.46. I am 36 year old right now and planning to conceive while my gynaecologist has asked me to increase the thyroid supplement dosage. I want to know what could be the reason for the increase in TSH and should I just increase the dosage or consult another specialist for the same.

TSH 5.46 is high when you are on medicine for hypothyroid and planning to conceive. Follow advice of your Gynaecologist.
