Nikhil is suffering from depression. That is what we understand by his conversations. He keeps on talking abt persons who do not exist in real life but he does not accept he has this problem, nor he is ready to consult any doctor or psychologist for the same. He has restricted himself by not talking to any one in the family, not moving out. How can we at least take him to a psychologist so that whatever is there in his mind can come out and even he can feel better. He keeps on talking abt a lady and some pakistani terrorists which do not hold any importance in his real life.In his every conversation with himself a lady is involved. This lady who refers sometimes as some bhua, sometimes a terrorist. I have been seeing this condition since 5 years. Please help.

This is not depression, but what you say is suggestive of psychosis, since it is 5 years most likely schizophrenia. He seems to be having severe paranoid delsuions. There are ways to treat a person who lacks insight into his illness, consult a psychiatrist.
