I had a hole in my heart during childhood. I am 30 years old now. Few months back I had cheSt pain and had a ECG. ECG was normal and doctor said it could be a muscle pain. My question is. Are the child with hole in their heart at increased risk ok heart problems in adulthood? After 20 years maybe?

The hole in the heart might lead to anatomical changes according to the working capacity and there is a risk of left ventricular hypertrophy at an early age but regular 2DECHO should confirm about your heart status
